back to School

Finally my 12weeks attachment had come to an end. It was indeed a great exposure to see how the industry work and learnt to be a more multi tasks person. I like to thanks people who have guided me through during my attachment as Location Researcher.

It was a tedious tasks and involves close coordination between many parties in this production. Thinking back, there really many exciting moments where script come in late and i’ve to get the require location within the timeframe given. I wish the rest luck and looking forward to see the show on air.

August 15

Happy Belated Birthday to Haidar! I see that we bought her a really nice jacket =) hope she like it. Went back to school today and finish the Family Violence. Finally had it done at 2230h. Left only Philip and Casey =D In work wise, i’m still a location researcher and I’ve seen many many nice places. I guess this task is just right for me. Simply becoz I like it. I get to mange my time well, that why I can go back to school and finish up the editing. What’s important is, at the end of the day U submit what u suppose to do and get it done!

So fast.. left 2 weeks more and i’ll be back in school. I’m sure I’ve words for all the crew in Pics Talk. Esp. to our BOSS Pauline. Thank you for treating us like a Adult! I really enjoy my stay and learn alot =) OH WELL, Eps 11 and 12 is OUT! OMG I’ve more more locations to look out for. Supermarket, Hotel, Cafe, Airport, Road, Restaurants and more Restaurants…

The Kiasu.

This is our School eLog. I have to log in everyday to note down my task/job scope for the day. As you can see I have not be logging it for 3 weeks. This mean I  have lots of shit to CLEAR! haha.

Wow what have i done for the last few weeks? I’m seriously in a lazy mood and busy schedule that I dun even Know how should I blog. Let’s start with the most anticipating Overnight shoot in aloha resort.. The unit was damn huge that it look scary even in day. I was the one signing out the key, the 1st one to reach and open up. There were few room that were hidden in a corner.. especially the toilet! but still have to check through make sure everything is fine. after an hours they arrived and its time to start work! Hell man.. We moved all the furniture to one side and took the other half for decoration.

It’s a scene back in the 90’s Christmas. So we have all those old fashion props.. haha it look cool especially when the crew came in with the light.. Orange.. Red.. Yellow.. However, we took almost 4hours to finish all decoration before we ready to shoot. There so much things to share but it’s sure a fun night. The crew left at 4+am as there still one last scene to clear in another location. For that I do not have to go becoz I have to stay there till morning as I need to sign out and wait for the guy to collect the sponsor props in e morning. haha! Thx to Philip and Guang who came over if not my AD sure won’t allow me to stay there alone! Thanks guys!

Doing attachment is a source of exposure but will it change a person mindset?

Happy Birthday, Mom!

Okie, 1st of August is my DEAREST MUMMY birthday! after all these years of hard work she deserve a good treat from us! thou I didn’t pay for the dinner but I bought a bag together with my younger bro… (Smile) Went to Marche in Heeren to have our dinner. It was going on some renovation and we almost though it was close down but only to found out that they have change the name to Village Restaurant. Interior is still the same! Order my same old fav dish ROSTI.

Work still fine! 4 more weeks to go and i’m gonna head back to school! Most of the outdoor shoot was fun. cleared most of the major location like Botanic Garden, Offices, Road Scene and even scene that held in NYP! Have a great look on how a Steady Cam work and also Car Mount for the Road scene. Tue will gonna be a Overnight shoot! Waaa.. really testing my physical… (Okie it’s FUN… YEAH -.-”)
 

Not a very good saturday

I dunno what goes wrong but the whole day dun seem right at all. Had a morning meeting in office and everyone were assigned with role/task when the production start. There sure to be lots of work to do.. More locations for me coz my task is Location Researcher. I will sure carry the Street Diectory whenever i go…

Works still able to cope.. as for other things i Really not sure… No direction in life..

Sometime i felt that i’m doing great but sometime juz feel wrong.. guess i’m not patience baa.. I’m a guy who always wish my day will be filled with fun and excitment.. with that you can conclude i’m someone who can’t stand bored… There will be times i’m down… that’s when i need alittle space for myself.. some quiet times…

Guess right now all i need is some rest… close my eyes and await for the morning…
