my little short trip.

Recently came back from a short beach resort trip in Phuket. A very nice place to relax and enjoy the very slow pace of lifestyle. Spent only 3days there but is definitely more than enough to re-charge myself. =)

After we touched down from Phuket airport, there’s a short 30mins car ride and follow by a 10mins boat ride before we reach The Naka Island.

Fantastic views isn’t it? Now let me show you the villa which I stayed.

The steps that lead to the far end door is the main entrance.

A mini private pool to dip in and maybe enjoy a glass of Champaign and some cheese.

I’m very particular over the bathroom/toilet whenever I go on a holiday and this is my first time experiencing an open concept toilet. How relaxing is that! There’s even steam-bath facility in it =)

I find this cute and interesting. On the main entrance we have this stone with open/close eyes. Basically it replaced the usual tag of DO NOT DISTURB which hang outside ur hotel door. So when eyes are opened they are allowed to enter to tidy ur room and vice versa.

This is how we “ring the door bell”, the rope is tied to a bell inside ur villa. cute huh.

So other than the luxury lifestyle that I’m enjoying the next thing which I enjoy alot is capturing down all the beautiful moments. NOT ME of course…. erm..

SO apart from all the beach and sands there’s also a small path that leads to the local village.

 

Another name for NAKA is SNAKE (Snake Island) but I only met one snake for my entire trip. I have to admit this is a great shot and I got really close to it. Priceless shot!

the super sum up!

Hello readers. I’m back and suddenly just have the urge to blog. Nothing particular that I want to say maybe…. just to update the things I’ve been doing and had accomplished. Thing have been good so far although not in every aspect but is important to stay optimistic right… so I shall not touch on it or better still, throw it far far away!

First up. My new drama It Takes Two 对对碰 will be airing on 6th Nov’12 (Next tuesday) at 9PM on Channel 8. Is my first time playing such heartland role as a fishmonger So please show mercy by watching and give us your support and feedback.

Second. The craft is up! New XINMSN Web drama “Of Love & Hidden Charms” is about to stream online @ Xinmsn from 12 Nov’12 onwards.

That’s my first heavy role in english drama and I’ve learned alot from this production. Not forgetting the lovely cast on set, Rebecca, Nat, Choy and Benjamin 🙂 Check out the official site where you can find trailers, teasers and behind-the-scenes clip =) It was so beautifully done!

Just yesterday I did a short clip “easy breezy” with Kate Pang. We were on a date!!! but things turn out different when shane appeared. So watch out for this short clip on Ch 8. No specific date and time. Will keep you all informed when I have more info. Will announce on my twitter. Here are some pictures taken. We had lots of fun as you can see!

Lastly, My Halloween Nights with my great friends. awwww.. they are my ghostly friends from Poly. All looking good!

We visited a couple of halloween’s event…. but One event I never regretted going was the Horror Nights from USS! It just get Better!

There’s one person we need to thank to… That’s our former lecturer and now friend. Seah! Thanks for the special tour!!! Not forgetting the great company from Tracy Xavier Sheena and my poly’s gang!

It’s a Wrap!

Finally a day to myself:) Wrapped my part for C.L.I.F on the 29th Mar, this 3 and a half months was indeed a memorable one… Plus the fact that this is my first drama and I’m playing a Policeman:)

In the beginning when I first started filming C.L.I.F, I wasn’t sure what to expect and how should I go about it playing the role of Sgt Koh Wen Xiong. Not forgetting acting along side with Elvin Tracy Andie Joey Julian etc. GOSH, I’m like the newest among all! Without the company of SS friends I do feel lonely and worried (that’s life huh?). Thankfully, the Casts and Crew were really nice enough in taking care of me and by the 3rd day I’m already feeling pretty comfortable with them =D

Big part of the chill came from the casts, YES my fellow colleagues turned Good Friends! You guys really did a Good Job in showering TLC on me haahaa… We went Crazy every time we get together!

Everything happened so fast that I do feel sad that the production had come to an end. This feeling is exactly the same when we graduated from school… Everyone moved on with their life. Now is time for me to clear my mind and move on as well. Nevertheless, I miss every single one that I worked with and not forgetting our SPF personnel who had follow us everywhere we go during the filming process! Thank you Mr. Policeman =)

SO the best way for me to loosen up is to throw myself into the theme park! Who don’t love Theme Park right? The ridiculous thing is that I went consecutive 2 days! First day with my Secondary kakis and the next day with C.L.I.F Team! Am I entitle to some Guinness World Records? lol.

A Good Start…2011

New Year, New beginning 🙂 It was great to spent my New year with so many people! A new start in my career with new environment & friends.  Did I forget to say the Vivo Countdown was an awesome experience???

Other than the Countdown experience with Channel 8, the other thing I should get happy with is my first drama ‘C.L.I.F. 警徽天职’ ever since the competition over. Also get to experience the first time attending Lensing Ceremony =) What an Eye Opening event!

I’m the most newbie among all!

Although is a good start but it also set as a reminder that from now on, I’m on my own… no longer having their company during work.  Sure miss all my SS friends!  esp. C.O.T.

Ohhhh… this cute little thing came into my life and brighten up my every single day! Although is only looking after for a week but I’m happy enough to have him in my house/room! Cause ever since young, My all time fav. pet is Dog, but it sure takes a whole lot of commitment to own one and I just not sure if I have the time now plus my parents is not so willing to keep one @ home… Hmmm.. Hope Brownie (Yes, that’s his name!) will change their mind!

On a side note, I have never mop so many times (@home) in my life before ever since Brownie arrived! haahaa. He really love to choose different spot to do his business everyday! Sometimes, I just have to monitor his movement. If he disappeared for quite some time means he either done with his business or found something nice to chew and is trying to avoid me! Cute huh 🙂

Brownie will be leaving tomorrow. I will sure miss him alot! Luckily my friend and I stay not far apart so I still can see him when I drop by my friend’s hse but it sure makes a different to wake up and not see him wagging his tail at me every morning =)

Last Saturday was a fruitful evening. A great Play, a decent “late afternoon high tea” and a magical evening view.

It’s been awhile since I last watch a play (the last one was Animal Farm, Ok not that long actually. haa) but this one was awesome!

Boeing Boeing – This play was said to be the longest running comedy in the history of French theatre (over 35 years!), as well as on London’s West End. It also became a successful Hollywood movie starring Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis.

This play is by far one of my favorite together with Chestnuts, directed by Jonathan Lim.

So got my feet up to the top of MBS, Thanks to my friend who have free tickets and we even managed to skip the long Q (It was the moment of sunset that’s why the Q was really long..) with the Paiza’s Card.
